Transwomen turned superheroes save pregnant mother and her child.

Subtitle: A woman in Bihar went into labour while on a train from Howrah to Lakhisarai and a group of transwomen helped her deliver safely when no one else stepped up.

Blessings babies receive from transwomen have always been considered extremely lucky in India. How much more auspicious then would it be to have a whole group of them carry out the delivery!

Well, that’s exactly what happened in Bihar as a pregnant woman from the Sheikhpura district and her husband were travelling from Howrah to Lakhisarai via the Halwara-Patna Janshatabdi Express train.

Almost as soon as the train left the Jasidih station, the woman in question began experiencing labour pains causing her to cry out in agony. The woman’s husband pleaded with other women in the coach to help her as he noticed her condition deteriorating. Sadly, though, not one of them came forward to offer their assistance even as the woman continued to groan painfully.

That was until a group of transwomen entered the coach. Immediately upon noticing how dire the woman’s condition was, the group helped carry her to a restroom in the train. And it was in this very restroom that the woman finally ended up delivering.

The efforts of the group in aiding the woman were applauded by everyone on the coach. However, their kindness didn’t just stop there. Apart from blessing the baby, the group of transwomen also offered monetary assistance to the woman’s husband.

The group who descended at the Jhajha railway station a short while later were instrumental in ensuring the woman had a safe delivery, saving not one but two lives that day. Talk about a lucky little baby!
